Honoree Nancy Nordhoff, on right,  presents the Benefactor's Award to Diana Greenwood at the 2005 Whidbey Island Writers Conference in Washington. Diana's winning entry, Three Penny Poet, is a young adult fiction story. Three Penny Poet took first place in the Children's Literature Division as well as best overall conference entry for the Benefactor's Award. Children's Division judge was Jane Yolen.
